Brighton & Hove Mobile Library, comes on Thursday afternoons to Queens Park Terrace, next to St Luke's Church. The schedule varies fortnightly, for example:
     - week 1 - 1130 - 1300 and 1430 - 1830

     - week 2 - 1000 - 1300 and 1430 - 1700
Brighton & Hove Toy Library and Soft Room - 18 Wellington Rd - Tel: 605040 (St Gabriel's) -Membership is a small fee per year. (I.D. required) Toy Library Sessions (Term time only) Tuesday 1pm - 3pm, Wednesday 9.30 am - 12.00 pm, Saturday 10am - 12.00 pm. Soft Room available for parties at weekends and some evenings.
Car Club - Hanover Community Association's Sustainable Travel Group - Set up to provide a car-share club, a travel information leaflet, cycle training courses and cycle hire. The Car Club project is now up and running and two cars are available for members who pay an annual fee for insurance, repairs etc plus a small charge per hour. Neighbourhood Care Scheme - Sean de Podesta is the Co-ordinator of the Neighbourhood Care Scheme, which operates in the Queen's Park, Hanover and Coombe Road area. It recruits volunteers who do various practical tasks and offer important human contact for older people or people with disabilities. Sean would like to hear from anyone interested in becoming a Volunteer or from anyone who feels that they would benefit from the services of a Neighbourhood Care Volunteer.
