About Hanovernet

.

Hanovernet is a community resource for residents to find out what's happening in the area. It is also a way for local people to communicate with each other, as well as worldwide.

It can provide a low-cost solution for local businesses to advertise on the Internet, and to have that advertisement targetted at local people.

Advertising rates are very reasonable (from £1 per week), and special rates with some free services apply to charities and community groups. If you would like to be included in Hanovernet, please look at our information page join.htm or contact us by e-mail at

Hanovernet gets thousands of hits a week, and the number of visitors has doubled in the last six months. The site is more than four years old, and we are now concentrating on developing the Local History section, and the online Education and Youth sections.

Join Hanovernet and your business can benefit from our value for money advertising rates, and be part of our local online community. As well as many local visitors, your advertisement will reach a worldwide audience.

If you would like to place an advertisement (articles for sale, Property for sale, flats to rent, lost pets etc.), or contribute to the news and events or local history pages, send an e-mail to
All businesses featured on Hanovernet are local and recommended by local residents or by the Hanovernet Team.

We are also looking for contributors to our Local History group. Please get in touch if you have any memories of Hanover, or any photos of Hanover in the past (even the recent past) that we could scan in and return to you.
